Mission Statement
Helen’s Angels exists for the sole purpose of providing in-kind and financial support and assistance to individuals and their families in the Greater Philadelphia tri-state area who have been diagnosed with, are impacted by, and/or are recovering from breast cancer. Our goal is to help relieve the stress of the breast cancer experience at the individual, family, and household level in order to improve the quality of life for those who’ve been diagnosed with the disease and their families.
Helen’s Angels is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the sole purpose of providing support and needed assistance to individuals throughout the Greater Philadelphia area who have been impacted by and/or are recovering from breast cancer, as well as their families. This support includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Financial assistance to help defray the costs associated with a breast cancer diagnosis: co-pays, transportation to and from doctors’ offices and treatment sites, and more
- House cleaning
- Meals
- Wigs
- Guidance & Counseling
Nominated recipient requests are reviewed by the Helen’s Angels Board of Directors.
Helen’s Angels funds are raised through direct donations, sponsorships, its annual “Tinis for Tatas” fundraiser and the Pink Ball Tournament.
In addition to the support that Helen’s Angels delivers to individuals and their families, the organization lends its support to organizations which share its mission.
